Julianna Gepes is a New York City-based Makeup and SFX artist. From an early age, she had an admiration for musical theatre feeling inspired by makeup and wardrobe. Along with the music, she felt like she could express herself and others through different characters. This fascination led her to then start her makeup journey at a young age watching different influencers online, and doing makeup for the cast of school plays in high school. It was at this time in her life she realized makeup was something she wanted to pursue forever. Julianna later attended Makeup Designory in New York completing the Master’s program. In that time, she was able to experience practicing different styles of makeup from beauty, Film/TV, SFX, creating prosthetics, and character design. She looks forward to revolutionizing the makeup industry and refining herself through makeup every day. One of Julianna’s strengths is her generosity, so she hopes to carry that on through her career. She will continue to seek out opportunities to inspire, educate, and empower all of her clients, in the same way, she felt when first discovering the amazing art that is makeup.
